Rental Rules

  1. Electro-bike or E-bike means a bicycle according to Annex 12 of Decree of the Ministry of Transportation No. 341/2014 Coll. meeting the specification according to Czech National Standards ČSN EN15194: 2011.
  2. The person (hereinafter referred to as the Lessee) referred to in the "E-bike Rental Agreement" (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement) for the Rental of E-Bikes and Optional Accessories (hereafter the Subject) uses the rental Subject, take-over of which the Lessee has confirmed by his or her signature.
  3. Make a reservation using the Order Form.
  4. Individual transport of bikes must be booked min. 48 hours in advance.
  5. If the bike is currently booked, another option can be arranged by phone.
  6. It is necessary to pay a refundable deposit for the rental Subject (hereinafter referred to as the Deposit), the amount of which is specified in the Agreement.
  7. The rental of the Subject is possible only after presenting at least two personal documents with a photo of the Lessee, when one of these documents shall be
    1. a valid identity card,
    2. a valid travelling passport,
    3. a valid firearms license or other certified documents of foreigners.
  8. The Lessee may only be a person over 18 years of age who has legal capacity.
  9. The Lessee is obliged to check the technical condition of the rental Subject before its takeover and payment of the Deposit.
  10. After signing the Agreement, the Lessee assumes all responsibility for the Subject until it is returned to the Lessor.
  11. The Lessee is obliged to get acquainted with the operation of the Subject as well as with its basic maintenance (battery charging, parking, transport, etc.).
  12. Use of the Subject is at the Lessee's own risk. The Lessor shall not be liable for any damage caused by the Lessee or by the Subject rented to the Lessee to his/ her own property or health, nor for any damage caused to the health or property of third parties for the entire duration of the Rental Agreement.
  13. The Lessee assumes responsibility for all rented Subjects. These are listed in the Handover Report, which forms Annex 1 to the Agreement. The Handover Report shall be confirmed by the Lessee by his/ her signature.
  14. The Lessee is obliged to return all the Subjects specified in the Agreement clean (washed away from dust and earth). In case of non-observance of this obligation, the Lessor reserves the right to deduct from the refundable deposit (Deposit) the amount of CZK = 150,- for cleaning one piece (of the Subject).
  15. The Subject (electric bike) is not intended for towing additional trolleys and is not designed for persons under 15 years of age.
  16. If the term of returning the Subject is not respected, the Lessee is obliged to pay the outstanding rent in the amount stated in the rental price list. The rent due will be deducted from the paid refundable deposit (Deposit) specified in the Agreement.
  17. If the rented Subjects are lost or stolen, the Lessee shall pay the full price of the Subject stated in the Handover Protocol.
  18. In case of damage, theft or loss of the Subject, the Lessee is obliged to notify the Lessor immediately by telephone or email. In the event of theft or loss of the Subject (electric bike), the Lessor recommends writing a report at the Police of the Czech Republic.
  19. The Lessee agrees that a refundable Deposit will be used for all possible costs related to the repair of the damaged Subject. If the amount exceeds the amount of the security Deposit, the Lessee is obliged to pay the additional costs within ten working days of receiving the invoice and the request for payment.
  20. The Lessor has the right to use the security Deposit to cover any damage incurred, as well as other claims against the Lessee.
  21. The Rental Rules form an integral part of the Agreement and form its annex No. 2..
